Black Out Prayers

Austin Kleon is an author artist. He has been featured on NPR's Morning Edition, The New Yorker, and The New York Times, just to name a few. He has written several books, but for the purposes of this post, Newspaper Blackout is a collection of poems made by using permanent marker to redact newspaper articles. In August of this year he posted Pandemic Prayers.

This could be a creative idea to use with children, youth or adults to think about how we can see and find our faith in every day places. Also how events in the news are tied to our faith as place where prayer is needed!
