This experience is one that will be hard to beat.Witnessing the election of the new Presiding Bishop and feeling the positive energy in the room was incredible.Serving alongside my other East Carolina Deputation and Bishop was a privilege and an honor.The collective knowledge in East Carolina on the Episcopal Church impressed me. We have some really great people in our diocese.Thank you to GC under 40 for taking in all young adults in the deputation and giving them a space to learn, grow and share ideas. Thank you to the East Carolina diocese for electing me as one of your lay deputies. Let us now see what the next triennium holds as we strive to have our church reflect the love of Jesus.
