Holy Lent - Adult Christian Formation Series
Observing a Holy Lent is part of the Episcopal Church’s tradition and keeping the liturgical calendar each year. What does it really mean to observe a Holy Lent? Lent is about more than what we give up or take on, it is about growing our relationship with God and deepening our faith.
Beginning with the invitation to observe a Holy Lent in the Ash Wednesday service (BCP 265), this 5 part series will invite each of us to examine the practices outlined in that service in the Book of Common Prayer and draw us deeper into an understanding of Lent.
The weekly class guide can be found HERE. The guide contains questions related to the topic each week for participants to reflect on prior to each week or to catch up if you miss a week.
